Sharing The News

When I found out I was pregnant the first time, I was too excited to contain the news, even for one minute. I ran into our bedroom, woke Justin up & told him right away. This time, I was determined to do something a little more special.

So, when I saw two pink lines on the test I took the Sunday before we started VBS, I kept my little secret under lock & key. The next day, the kids & I went to the mall & bought Daddy some prizes for a make-up Father's Day. The real holiday was a bit of a bust in our house since I was only about four days post-op from my foot surgery, so I wanted to make it up to him.

The kids proudly gave Daddy his gift & card
& then helped him with the unwrapping.
Here's their homemade card, with a little help from Mommy:

The first words out of his mouth were, "Baby Chams? You're already pregnant?" We were both a bit surprised at how quickly this little one came on the scene!

These cutie pies got to show off their new shirts via Skype to all of our family & then again to our small group last night. They, of course, have no idea just how their little worlds are about to be rocked, but they love the shirts!

Congrats! So excited for you. Three is a bunch of fun, and I think 2.5 yrs spacing will be perfect. May God bless your growing family!
