Grandparentpalooza

After a week at the beach with family, a week of having Mimi here & a week with Nana here, my kids have had to undergo grandparent detox. They've been a bit sad that all their favorite playmates are gone & it's back to just Mommy.

While Mimi was here, they did lots of reading...
played outside plenty...

& just generally got lots of lovin'!

There were, of course, tickles involved...
as well as high-class games like "put the bowling pin in your shirt."

When Nana arrived, we had a whole new round of fun! She taught them how to bowl...

& joined them in giggling through lots of games of peekaboo.

Pops got to stop by one night while Nana was here...& then Papa joined us for the last three days of Nana's stay. Jake & Mal had fun helping him open his belated Father's Day gift.We are so very thankful for all of the help we received from our parents. We couldn't have done it without them! We'll be on a bit of a hiatus from grandparents for a while since Pops & Mimi are in Georgia and Nana & Papa are on a trip, but then we'll start the fun up again in August for the twins' birthday!
