To Nana's House We Went

We headed to Paris, Texas the Saturday before Thanksgiving for my niece's first birthday, & then the kids & I stayed all week with Nana & Papa. J rejoined us on Wednesday night for the Thanksgiving holiday. We had a great time with family!

Jake & Mal always remember where the good stuff is at Nana's house & head straight for the bookshelf & toy box.

Me & Miss Aubrey, the birthday girl

Silly kids trying on Mr. Potato Head's glasses

The weather was way warmer than November should be for most of the week, so the kids enjoyed some time spent outdoors.
Look Mommy, cows!
Even running down a "hill" can be exciting when you're two.
Jake got in some good reading time with Nana.
And they both tried their hand at tractor driving. No matter that the tractor wasn't running at the time - still exciting!

For our Thanksgiving feast, we were joined by my brother & his family, my uncle & cousin & my mom's friend, Jackie. We were all stuffed with good food!

Sweet Aubrey - love those cheeks!
Aubrey loves to give Jake & Mal hugs!
Silly girl posing
Jake wasn't quite as excited about Aubrey as she was about him.
She may not be as fast as he is, but a quick grab of the shirt will slow him down.
Mal loved this back massager of my dad's & kept holding it up to her face to feel the buzzing.
Cousin Scott was a big hit with the twins. They thought he was just hilarious!
Nana & Papa with all their grandchildren. Maybe in a few years we'll be able to get them all looking at the camera!
Our familyUncle Kent, Aunt Joni, Brody & AubreyThanksgiving is great, but I'm so excited that it's now Christmas time!!
