Obviously, my title doesn't refer to today! We're staying cozy in the house right now, but on Friday, we took advantage of the gorgeous weather & spent the morning at the Arboretum. It wasn't crowded at all, & the kids had a blast exploring all of the little houses in the American Frontier area.
Then Mommy took a rest & let them burn off some energy running up & down the lane to the fountain.
Mallory was scared of the giant frogs at the fountain & wouldn't get too close, just in case they were real. Jake was a bit braver but ran back to my side as soon as I snapped this.
Michelle, Caroline & Ty met us for a picnic lunch. Ty is just the happiest baby!
After lunch, the kids ran around in the pecan grove & joined up with some other kids playing there. This little huddle cracked me up because they just looked so grown-up as they worked out their next plan.
Hopefully we'll have more sunny days soon!
