South of the Border

For any die-hard Chamblee Life fans, I apologize for my lack of blogging lately.  I feel like life is just so busy these days that I hardly have time to sit down, much less blog.  From what I hear though, that doesn't really change for at least the next eighteen years or so.  I guess I'd better find a way to make it work!

A couple of weeks ago, J & I escaped the chaos for a few days of relaxation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.  It was so beautiful, & just what we needed to slow down & relax for a bit.  We took tons of pictures, but I've tried to select a few of the best & will let them do most of the talking.

The waves on the beach at our resort were insanely huge, & since the shore is lined with lots of jagged rocks, there is no swimming allowed.  We knew that before going, so it was fine, & we enjoyed just walking on the shore & taking in the beauty when we weren't sitting by the pool.

Cacti!  I realize it's a bit ridiculous to be impressed by each cactus when in Mexico.  There are lots!  But they were all just so unique & pretty in their own way.
Amidst all the relaxation, we made time for some silliness as well.
See what I mean?  The cacti are just cool!
This picture of me made me laugh at myself.  When will the inner cheerleader ever die?
Thank you, honey, for an amazing vacation!  And a huge thanks to my parents for taking care of our kids while we were away.  They had a great time with you!
