Documenting the Undocumented

We've been in Georgia for the past week, & I took a total of six pictures.  More than half were taken on my phone.  So much for documenting the memories!  So here's a very small sample of what we've been up to.

Rather than driving through the night as we've done in the past, we chose to stay the night just outside of Jackson, MS, which is the halfway point.  This was actually only the second time Jake & Mal have stayed in a hotel & Beau's first.  Everyone slept surprisingly well!  Of course, it doesn't take much to beat the twins' first hotel stay, which involved vomit.
Breakfast at the hotel before continuing on our journey
The kids got lots of fun cousin time with Belle since her mommy was in Guatemala for the week.  Jackson & Ella were also with us several of the days.  There's never a dull moment with six kids age four & under!

Beau checking out a picture of himself on Pa's phone; Mal posing with Betty Boop at a barbecue restaurant.  Yep, she's random!

We took the big kids to see The Pirates! at Studio Movie Grill.  Jake found this pirate hat in Mimi's dress-up box & insisted on wearing it to the movie & for most of the week.

My pictures left out the wonderful anniversary party that Justin's parents & his aunt & uncle threw in honor of Gigi & Pa, as well as lots of play time, good meals & all around family fun.  Now it's off to the beach for more family time!
